Hatchet by Gary Pulsen

I reccomend the book Hatchet because in the book he is a normal boy with friends and his parents are together until one day he is with his best friend terry at the mall and he comes out to see his mom kissing some other guy and he doesn't know what to do so he is scared.his parents ends up getting a divorce and brian is in the middle of it.and one day he is going to canada to see his dad and the plane crashes so now he is stuck on a island  and has to live in wildlife.

I think the book is good because it show character and braverey in Brian. I give this book a thumbs up.I do not want to read the second book because if this book is good and the second book is horrible I am not going to want to read anymore Gary Pulsen books.
