Thirteen, by Lauren Myracle

   The book Thirteen is about, a girl named Winnie Perry. And her adventures on her 13th year. I would defiantly recommend this book. To anyone who is willing to read it.This is  the continuing story of Winnie's adventures.Her story began with eleven twelve and now thirteen.So find out if Winnie's 13th year will be amazing,or a total disaster.This is a fun story.That will make you cry,or make you laugh.So read this book and find out with happens next.In this amzing story about growing up.

Twilight books by Stephenie Meyer

In the Twilight series there are four books so far Twilight, Twilight New Moon, Twilight Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. These books are about a girl named Bella and she meets this boy Edward at her new school in Forks, Washington, but there is something weird about this boy. Then there is Jacob who has  a secret and is in love with Bella, and can not be around that Edward guy. So will Bella find out what is weird thing about Edward, and what Jacobs secret is read the books to find out

Twilight

Twilight was the first book in this series which basically gives you all the background in the story! I really liked the first one it was just right nothing was to slow or anything i couldn't get easily. There was intense parts that made me want to keep reading. When Mr.Sheridan told us to pack up are reading i got mad at him a lot. 

Twilight New Moon
Twilight New moon was the second in the series. This one was about the time when Edward left Bella because he felt like it was the right thing to do. But then he got the thought Bella dies and wants to kill himself. so the race is on will Bella find out in time to tell Edward she is alive or will she break it. I really thought it was a great book and i decided to read the next in the series. There was only one ad part in the book which little sections in the middle were a little to slow but i kept on reading so i really love the twilight series.

Twilight Eclipse
Twilight eclipse is the third book in the series and is about the time when Bell had to choose between her relationship with Edward and her friendship with Jacob. Not only that is happening but there is a string of murders through the Seattle area and the whole Cullen clan knows what it is...NEWBORN VAMPIRES...
and they are out to get Bella.

Twilight Breaking Dawn
this is the last book so far and it is about Bella. Bella has a monster in her body as her HUSBAND calls it, but Bella knows inside its not. Bella is willing to die for this monster in her body, but Edward wont let that happen will Bella survive or will she die? this book is my favorite because something happens that i have been waiting the whole series for but wont tell you. so read the series i think a new book coming out!!!!!!!

Loser By Jerry Spinelli

In the book Loser, Zinkoff is a boy who is fulled of couriousity and he likes to run.Towards the end of the book a little girl gets lost and Zinkoff tries to find her and he looks everywhere for the girl until he gives up but then the girls mom finds her and Zinkoff fell so good inside because no one ever told him thank you besides his mom.

I reccomend it.The book shows couriousity and having fun I give it a thumbs up

A Place to Hide by Jayne Pettit

The book A Place to Hide is about the holacaust and a group of people hidding in some ones house in a back room and they pay the guy who owns the house to go and get supplys and food i thought that it was a good book

I would recremend this book to people because it was well written and there wasnt open ends also it was a realistic fiction of things that could have happened or did happen

Call It Courage

The book Call It Courage is about a young boy who lives on a island and one day his mom and him are at a harbor and a hurrican happens and then the mother dies and Mofatu only has a father now but his father is ashamed of him because he is afraid of the sea. This book shows courage.I give it a thumbs up

Among The Imposters

In the book Among The Imposters Luke goes to school now so he doesn't have ot hide.But now he has bullies and the Jakel boy makes him go threw torture.so now he has to hisde from him.

The Eerie Canal by Jeffrey.c

The book Eerie canal is a story about a class in the 1800s whos teacher took them on a field trip and where taking a tour through the erie canal and during the middle of the trip one of the kids found a glass bottle that brought them back in time and a guy snatched him up and brought him to the captain and they made them sleep in the basment

  

  I  would definetly recremend this book to any one

Dutch Double by Fran Gordon and Faye Tischler

The book Dutch Double is about a girl that gets a bracelet but its not your ordinary bracelet it sends you back in time. she went threw the famos schenectday masscre. she met lawrence the indian and she was a maid.The day the masscre came she told everyone and they thought she was crazy but she proved them wrong.

 

  I reccomend this book because it shows curiosity and having fun.I give this book a thumbs up.

Waiting for You by Susane Colasanti

Waiting for You is about this girl named Marisa. Marisa really liked Derek except he had a girlfriend, but the truth is Derek is in love with Marisa. But those arn't the only two characters Marisa has a bestfriend named Sterling who always falls forolder guys. And then there is Nash the sweet shy geek, he really likes Marisa but she dosn't like him back. So now there is thos complete love triangle that kepps pointing at Marisa! On top of all that drama Marisa could be having Family problems but is not so sure.

I would really recommend this book to mostly girls who like romance stories and chick flicks. i read it in about four days and couldnt put it down. It captures your mind because of the way it is written because it has things kids would do now like hanging out at the mall, going someplace after school, and watching TV. In my opinion i think it wa great the page where it explains the backround of the story made me want to read it more. The beggining was awesome it wasnt to slow of a story that it basically said the same things over and over and the middle was a little slow and dissapointing. The ending was like that too because i could basically tell you the end of the story from like the middle of the book but that wa just my opinion so try it out you may like it!!

Waiting for Normal by Leslie Connor

The book Waiting for Normal is an excellent story it is about a girl who has alot of struggles in life and her mom doesnt help her she is never home and would leave for weeks an only give her daughter ten dollars to last on .The mom was also very unappreciative she wanted the best of the best with out working al she did is go on the computer watch tv and smoke, her daughter Addie  cooked .Addie had no friend just one and she was old her name was solia the owner of the store across the street .solia helped addie she called cps on her so she could live with some one who wont leave her home alone and shows love .it worked to because sh got to live with dwight and her two siblings

I would definitly recommend this book - it was a story with things that happens in kids life today!

Stargirl By Jerry Spinelli

   The book Stargirl is about, a girl who is different from anybody else, she calls herself Stargirl. She doesn't wear makeup, she doesn't wear the cloths that are in style, and she is ALWAYS happy. She knows every body's birthday, knows whens someones relative dies, and she mysteriously has scrapbooks of you as a child.

   Everyday she puts little candies on her classmates desk's and sings her favorit song at lunch everyday if it's you birthday. Her clasmates diden't like her at first, but soon after they started to exepct her. She was there for every game of basketball, cheering on her school and even the oponents. And was soon acepted to be a cheeraleder.

   In the middle of the story, she falls in love with a boy named Leo. She takes him to her special place to meditate with her and her rat, they call him Cinnamon!What happens next is yours to read and find out!!!!!

TTYL by Lauren Myracle

TTYL is about a group of girls who IM all the time.

Their screennames are madmaddie, snowangel, and zoegirl.

They go through high school drama and trauma. Though they try to stick together. There are a bunch more in his series like TTFN, L8R G8R, and BFF.

We would reccomend this series because the way these books

are written. These books are mostly for girls ages 11 and up.

they really keep you gussing about what s going to happen next.

We haven't read BFF yet, but hopefully Mr.Sheridan will find it somewhere

for us.

Among The Hidden by Margaret Peterson Haddix

The book Among The Hidden is about a goverment law that states if you have more than three children we have to kill the third and afters.So Luke has to hide without letting anyone know that he even exist.But one day he is looking out a window and sees a girl but he know that everyone is at school so he thinks it another shadow children so he goes to check.

 This book is excellent so i recomend it.It show bravery and courage I give this book a thumbs up.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas by John Boyne

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is about a little boy named Bruno. He and his family move to Auschwitz camp, because his father is the commandant. Bruno finds himself exploring one day. He reaches a barbwire fence, and sitting before him was a little boy who was small, bald, and wearing striped pajamas. Bruno developed a friendship with this boy named Shmuel. 

We read this as a class book. We all recomend this book, because it captures your mind and everytime Mr.Sheridan  read it. We wanted him to read more.We didnt like the idea of reading a historical fiction book because we thought it would be

boring, but soon after we read a couple pages we were really intrested in it. So give the book a try.

The Great Gilly Hopkins by Katherine Paterson

I didn't like the book The Great Gilly Hopkins because the girl Gilly is mean and she gets on people because she is bad and getting in trouble.

At the end it didn't make any sense because i thought she met her mom but she didnt, and at the end Gilly finally said that she loves her foster brother.

Wednesday Wars by Gary D Schmidt

The book Wednesday Wars was an ok book. It is about a kid Holling Hoodhood and his teacher doesnt like him for no reason until her husband passed away in the vietnam war and she started to have fellings and she ended up being nice to the class

        

I would not reccremend this book because there was alot of open ends they never finished and the last chapter was with  them going camping  when they could have closed all the open ends.

Hatchet by Gary Pulsen

I reccomend the book Hatchet because in the book he is a normal boy with friends and his parents are together until one day he is with his best friend terry at the mall and he comes out to see his mom kissing some other guy and he doesn't know what to do so he is scared.his parents ends up getting a divorce and brian is in the middle of it.and one day he is going to canada to see his dad and the plane crashes so now he is stuck on a island  and has to live in wildlife.

I think the book is good because it show character and braverey in Brian. I give this book a thumbs up.I do not want to read the second book because if this book is good and the second book is horrible I am not going to want to read anymore Gary Pulsen books.

"Pretty Little Liars" by Sara Shepard

Pretty Little Liars is based a TV show about a girl named Alison. Alison goes missing during a sleepover with her friends Aria, Spencer, and Emily. And all three girls are getting mysterious notes and  text messages signed  A. Could  this be someone playing a prank or Alison.

We think the book is good for people who likes mysteries, suspense, and chick flicks. We would highly recommend this book because Sara S. builds the story up so intensly you wont want to stop reading the book. Once you finish reading the book you will surely want to read the next book in the series. You probably wont like the ending not because its bad but because its over.
